WARNING

I find this election cycle all so troubling. I'm sure that's why the Lord said when we see the day approaching to be in prayer all the more. Back in 1963 there was a lady who fought her hardest and won...the Bible was taken out of public schools. So now we have two generations that have gotten further and further away from knowing the truth. We have aloud so many different religions to come into America, teaching their own ideology, their own interpretations, not the truth. JESUS said He is "the truth the way and the life", without Him we are nothing. In 1 John He says that He is the word and the word became flesh. Now that we have so many that don't know the truth and really don't want to know the truth, we as a Nation will suffer the consequences, just as Israel. Yes, things are bad and they will continue to get worse and yes it is because we are disobedient to God our Lord JESUS CHRIST. When a government is corrupt the people will become corrupt and the Nation falls from the grace of God. When a nation has a God fearing government you will have more God fearing people, I'm not talking just any man made god, but the one and only God and that is JESUS CHRIST. If you read the books of Kings in the Bible you will see that when Israel had a God fearing King they prospered and did very well. But, when they were under a non-God fearing king they were in turmoil. Well, hello this is in there for us for an example so we wont do the same thing. Noah and the ark, this isn't just a story or a fairy tail, it too is in there for an example so we won't become as they were. Sodom and Gomorrah, this too is not just a story...it is fact and has proof that it did happen. Another great example of what can and will happen to a corrupt people. So many warnings in "THE WORD" of God.
Have we as a people become so corrupt that now we are willing to put a person in power over America that is so corrupt and goes against everything this Nation was founded on. Truth, values, morality, integrity. Are we so blind that we can't see the truth when it is slapping us in the face. Can we not see what he will do to this country if elected president?! If you meet a person that has nothing but thug friends, he is probably a thug. We will become the next 3rd world Muslim nation, to the extreme. I truly believe that this man Obama could be the false prophet warned about in the Bible. Where did he really come from? What is his religion and his true belief? He rose up quick not really being known. Only three years in the senate. Will he be the one to reign in the Anti-Christ and take us into the tribulation? The word says that that day will be as the days of Noah. Well I can't see how things could get any worse morally.
The only thing that will change anything, will be for us as a Nation to repent and come back to the one and only God. We must be willing to surrender our will to the Lord and follow His leading.
So, are you too worried about your future? You don't have to be. You don't have to be left here to go through the tribulation. Just come to JESUS, repent of your sins. The word says we are all born unto sin, but He also gave us a way out. You only have to recognize that you are a sinner and ask JESUS for forgiveness, accepting that He is the Lord God who came and died on the cross and arose in three days. Accept your salvation, it is a free gift from the one and only that has the power to save. A God so full of mercy and grace, and today is another day of mercy for you from God, but that age of grace is about to run out. So please don't wait until it is too late. Read His word asking Him for understanding and direction. He will give freely to those that ask with an open heart.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

I do try to have a daily devotional and when I miss a day, my day just don't seem right.
Today I feel the need to share my devotional with you (all who may read my blog).
Today's devotional was on "Why Pray?" My reading was in Luke 11:1-13.
One of JESUS' disciples asked Him to teach him to pray. Noticing that JESUS Himself
took time to pray. So He told him to pray this prayer, v2 "Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
v3, Give us day by day our daily bread.
v4, And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And
lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil". In Matthew, he goes on to say,
"For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever, Amen".
Ok, He taught him how, but one may still wonder why?. I believe it's communication.
If we do not have open communication with our Lord, JESUS CHRIST, our creator,
the one who supplies all our needs. How will we know His will for our lives?. Those
of who are parents, do we not give our children direction? Then why would we not
ask our Father, JESUS CHRIST for direction in our lives. He alone deserves all our
thanks and praise, after all...He did He did go to the cross for us all.
I think as a parent I can relate to how JESUS must feel. Only for Him, being Father
of us all, it must be much greater. It has to be one of the hardest things in life, to have
raised children and when they grow up and find a life of their own, they don't have a
need for you anymore. The communication you might have had, small or great, is a
thing of the past. But, just like JESUS, the parent loves their children and is still there,
ready to supply a need or open to any communication there may be at any given time.
So, if you have a parent or parents still alive...please tell them you love them and let
them know that they are an important part of your life. And, why not take a
moment to thank the Lord, JESUS CHRIST for supplying all your needs.
Keep the communication open. Love you mom and dad.

YOU WONT BELIEVE IT!

I have been contemplating for a long time, have even checked out different places
to attend, but the cost was always astronomical and I really didn't know what
I wanted to do. I don't know how people do it?!
Oh,... you're probably wondering what in the world I'm talking about.
...COLLEGE...man that's a scary word...especially when you put full time in front
of it. But, yes, I'm doing it! I think it'll be more fun than hard, since I'm only taking
photography classes to get a photography certificate. I' m told it'll take a year. Looks
like it'll be a busy year.
If you're a God fearing, praying person...please pray for me! I've been out of school
for....26+ years. Oh my goodness....WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!

5 Random things you may or may not know about me

Paul and I got home late Thursday from visiting my mom and dad in Arkansas. I see that while we were away, I have been tagged by my wonderful daughter-in-law, Jackie. So, here it goes.

1. I am one of the worlds greatest procrastinators. What's worse is that I hate it about myself but just can't figure out how to change it.

2. I love JESUS, and want to be more like Him.

3. I have hope and I pray that all my children come to know Him, our Lord JESUS CHRIST as their personal savior before it's too late.

4. I wish I could go to Africa and give every child I see a great big hug and a smile. And tell them that JESUS loves them.

5. I love all my children and my grandbaby very much and it is great turmoil daily not being able to see them, hug them and tell them that I love them very much.
